I've Finally Done It!

That’s right, I’ve finally done it!
I bought these absolutely amazing Space Invaders pants by [sYs] at the Vintage Fair when it was around. Took me until today to finally get an outfit that
worked with it. Yeah, I know – there are tons of different clothing out there, but none of it really felt right for me. Until now! I was really excited when
this outfit started to come together, because like I said before – I could never get the right look for the pants. So, when I finally got it, I kept it
simple, Black and Green. Still have the shoes from [JP] they really are great shoes, amazing quality and they have Color HUD! Can’t go wrong with that and
the price wasn’t terrible either. The Glasses are also from [JP] also great quality. Which brings me to my first ever CERTIFIED – How a CERTIFIED works is
that if I feel a Designer has gone above and beyond in their quality and over all ease of use, I’ll give them a CERTIFIED. I’m other words…GO BUY FROM
THEM! I can’t forget about the awesome jacket from G O L A and this Cap from 2REAL, which also has a color HUD!

To Blog or Not To Blog

So, the name says it all – which brings me to, Yes, this is my first blog. Ever. Lola, has been asking me to try this for some time now and I always told her no, I have no interest in it and truthfully, I didn’t. Until recently. I started really getting in to Mesh Clothing – The looks, designs and the best part, throwing it all together to make some really creative outfits in my opinion. And that’s the glory of Second life – you have the freedom to do and be what ever you want. For me, I dress my Avi how I would in RL if I had the time and money. I could only imagine the RL cost of this Vest/T-Shirt combo from :SEY, add the Shoes from [JP]:dsg and the Pants from <kal rau> – Could be looking at Two Weeks worth of Pay, maybe more.
Now only if I could pull this look off in RL.

Trolling on Second Life

This week was my second time ever in Second Life that I have been trolled. Normally I really don’t mind people doing it, they mostly do it to get a reaction . So the reason I have not been trolled much, I think was because I don’t react and they don’t get the kick out of it. This week I received a gesture, I thought was from one of my groups and I accepted it. It has sent me over 800 tp’s and crashed me. Then a few times after that too, because I was unable to detach it as I was lagged out too much. I eventually just detached everything and it stopped, but I was unknowingly dropping prims where ever I tp’d, filling up everyone’s sims. They could just return it, but on my own parcel, I had to do a total cleanup as I could not find it. I don’t really get what kick the person that did that got out of it. Weird minds out there.

But on a positive note, after I had to return everything on my parcel I didn’t feel like rezzing my old house and got a new mesh house! I loved decorating it! But to keep in the theme of my annoyed mood, I dressed in black 😀 Have a good troll free day out there!!

Second Life and Friends

Second life can be filled with drama and heart ache, but it can also be the most wonderful place to ever be at. I see so many people saying that one person are the reason why they log on to Second life, and all I then think is… you have so much to learn and you deprive yourself. Second life to me is that special someone, yes, but also my friends. I have the most amazing group of friends and I will not trade them for anything. Favorite thing to do when it rains

I grew up in a desert country and of course it never rained much. But ones a year it would pour down for a few hours and the flowers would bloom as if they had plenty of rain all year long. Then suddenly the country would have fields and fields of flowers. It just comes alive!

That’s when you dance bare feet in the rain. As a kid we used to do it every time it rained. We were so happy and jumped, skipped and hopped for hours. It seemed to wash away the dirt, wash away the heat and wash away all your troubles.  The world seemed so much brighter. Most roads were dirt roads, and of course the rain would create rivers in them.. which later develops into “canyons”, which promises to be a lot of fun with our bikes long after the rain is gone.

Then when the rain passes the frogs come out.  There were always a competition between me and my brother who will catch the most frogs. I can’t even remember who normally won, but try catching frogs hopping all over the place all wet and slippery. What a mission. 😀

And that night you go to sleep with the smell of fresh rain in the air and frogs calling and singing out loud competing with the crickets.. nature loving the rain. That is the most peaceful, happy way to drift away into never, never land.

I'm a Fangirl

Seriously, I had to go search what “fangirl” meant.  Can you tell I’m not 18? Well I’m not middle aged, but when I was 18 it was called “groupies”.  Or maybe it’s just an American term, which I’m not.

I really do love music and a really wide variety. That made it hard to decide what to do with today’s blog. I was thinking to pick a band and blog about it, but it was too hard, there are too many I like, but not one I go crazy about. Then I wondered does fangirl only apply to bands or singers?

So again, I searched and it came up with this: An obsessive female fan (usually of movies, comic books, or science fiction).

Ohh Obsession! Such a negative word. I prefer to change it to “passion” or “admiration”. There are a lot of people in Second Life that I admire. I love their creativity, their passion and skill. But the following three people really inspire me.
